Wish I could help you are better off waiting until in the morning so you can go by there instead of making it worse by breaking the key. Good luck.

Is it in the ignition? If it is, then try restarting and shutting off again.

Turn the steering wheel hard first one way than the other while trying to "jiggle" the key while trying to remove the key.

This also happened to me while changing out the shift **** on my at. if there is any pressure on the it at all, the key won't be removeable. you could try wiggling the **** around a little as well.

Are you sure your locking the wheel, or have the wheels turned when turning off the car?

It probably wasn't all the way in Park....or something to do with Park not letting the ignition cylinder return fully....if this is a frequent occurance, you should definitely go to the dealer and get them to check it out....next time, try just moving shifter from Park to Reverse, then back to Park....you don't necessarily have to start the car to do this, just have the key "on" and press the brake pedal.....If you can narrow it down to that being the problem, let the dealer know....anyway, good luck....
