Has anyone traded in their 04 Coupe???
I was wondering if anyone has traded in their 04 coupe (AT or 6MT) yet.
I have been working a deal over the past couple of weeks. I was wondering how I am fairing. I have an 04 BO AT Coupe loaded minus NAV. The best trade offer I have gotten is 27.5k. My car is in great shape minus one ding on the drivers side read wheel well. I am going to get a loaded 05 6mt with nav (DG this time) using VPP pricing. The savings from the VPP and the financing rate is making it a doable deal.
The other reason for my trade is I had planned some new upgrades to my car.
19" Summer Rims
Suspension Upgrade
Aftermarket NAV update
Sirius Sat Upgrade
Once I added all of these up I realized that I could pick up an 05 for the same if not a little less money out of my pocket while getting all of the upgrades I wanted plus the others included in the 05 (like the xtra 19 ponies).
What kind of trade-in numbers are people getting out there?

How many miles do u have on the G?
I am very interested in trading my 04 AT for an 05 MT sometime this yr. BTW, how are you getting VPP? Help a brother out.
I was contemplating a color change as well, but after i washed my car today (BO), i cannot help but love the black color. I like black for the looks, white for the practicality. But well see what happens....
Anyways, why dont u sell your G private party? More $.

My 04 G has 10.5k miles on it. It is in immaculate condition except for one ding over the rear drivers side tire.
There are points to selling the car privately. I am under a little time constraint. I have to get the deal done within 90 days (20 have past) before my VPP number expires. I am resigning from the company that qualifies me for the VPP discount. The tax difference between trading the car in and selling it privately (remeber you get taxed twice) balance out the differnce in the lower trade in value.
I love black cars too, but keeping this one clean and swirl free was taking up too much of my leisure time. I'd rather be playing with my kids than Zaino'ing the car for the eight time in a month. The paint problems just added to the problem. That is why I am bumping down a couple of shades to the diamond graphite.

VPP is a discounted pricing structure for people that have access to it through a relationship with Nissan/Infiniti. In my case I get it through my company. VPP pricing is saving me about 3k on the price of the new car.
It takes the haggling out of the process. You get a VPP number, walk into a dealer, give them the number, pick out a car, they enter both into their VPP system, and out spits a near invoice price for the car. They then show you the invoice cost of the car compared to the VPP price and you are done.
