The way I see this is, everyones got some head up their asses.

First of you don't compare an M class BMW to a G35 thats like saying a Ferrari is faster then a Ford Taurus. (no ****)

The G35 will smoke the 330Ci no doubt (not by alot but will smoke it.)
The handeling of the BMW is better then the G's
The M series BM will Smoke the G35 eyes closed.

Btw the G35's cost a fraction of the beamer so def is a better buy for the buck.
On the other hand you will not get close to the Quality Name and Looks as of the BMW out of an Nissan car period.

Simply said for morons to understand, If you got a G35 with a turbo pulling 450hp and smoke a BMW M3..... well congratulations but the guy still got an M3 and you only have a G35. So safe the fuss.... .. ..

I dunno what all the fuss is about. The M coupe is a gorgeous car. But if you don't buy it to be the fastest car on the road. I could buy a 20k Neon SRT-4, and embarass an M3, IF my goal was to be the fastest ricer out there. Its not like I bought my G35 to be the fastest loser out there. I love the styling and its just a great car to pimp around in.

Just to put this issue to rest. One of my old friends has a 2004 330ci. I have a 2003 g35 coupe. we raced i kicked hiss *** from 1st gear to 4th gear. It wasnt a race it was done at the beginning. Bmw 3 series is just a soccer moms dream car. Get up to the M3 and then were talking.

Dont agree, well so What M3, there are so many M3s out there its not like somekind of ICON. G35 is pretty close.Your statement would make sense if you compared a Ferrari or Bently to a G35 Twin Turbo because that's where the name plays in. As for quality, what quality? There's a reason why people lease BMW's, not buy them. It's why I went with the G35 over the M3. And also ease up on the Moron comment.

 

okay guys .. i hope u didn't take my post out of context. I know M3 is a better car than the G ... and the G is a better car than the 330CI. I just didn't like the fact that they were talking crap about ours Cars. I just think thats cheap. thats what pissed me off, we don't sit here .. and talk smack about cars which are below our league cuz thats just stupid. Thanks for your comments!

 

BTW, 330 doesn't handle better than G35. Best Motoring tested Skyline 350GT coupe and 330i ZHP along with various cars and they weren't too thrilled about 330i... they praised G35 for its handling but complained about the VDC

 

i personal own a 6MT sedan. i beat my friend's 04 M3 SMG by one car length front dead stop( because he forgot to turn off the traction control and switch to sports mode)
i know he will beat me so bad if he turn all those off.
but as far as 330CI , they dont 'have chance against G35 at all.
that's just my common.

This is really funny. What do you think the M3 is?...a tweaked 3-Series. You sound very envious. Most of us on this board could've afforded a M3 if we wanted, but personally when I was shopping for a car in 2002, I wouldn't touch a M3 with a 10-foot pole. I do hope they corrected the engine problems though. If it's a question of money, I rather have a $55k G35 Coupe than a M3 anyday, but that's just me. I kinda like the performance edge and tend not to be a Roundel *****. And at the end of the day, who cares. When I owned an E46 BMW I didn't sit around at the end of the day thanking God that I drove a BMW. Is that how you measure your success?

 

I used to own Bimmers, I would never own another because evryone that drives one thinks they're hot ****, I didn't like being part of that group. BMW's and Mercs were cool.... 10 years ago. Now you just look like an a$$hole driving one.

 

okay guys .. lets not be ignorant ...Bmw's are still hot cars ... just because some bimmer owners said **** aboutour cars, its their lose character not their car. Their car the m3 and i say even the 3 series .. are good cars. Speed isn't everything.
