Stevo, several words of wisdom...

1. A repair like this ALWAYS gets more expensive, especially at a place like DAYA's. They like to make sure the car isn't totalled out, then get 2/3 of the way into the job and find more problems. How else do you think they pay for all that marble, the waterfalls, the receptionists, etc...

2. I would press for the insurance company to total the loss. 80% of the car's value should qualify the car to be totaled and if you argue your case strongly enough, you should be able to get it totaled.

3. Once the car is totaled take the insurance check and join the Florida G35 Club (FGC) as a Premier Member. Next step is to run (not walk) away from Orlando Infiniti (OI). As a Premier Member of the FGC you can buy a new 2005 G35 Coupe (or any Infiniti besides the M45) for $500 over dealer invoice.

FYI, I also bought my LR coupe from OI and I paid way over $500 over invoice. Mark Plyter might be a great salesman, but the price ain't worth the convenience of a local dealership selling you a car.

If you have any questions send me a private message. I'd be glad to answer any questions you may have.

Also, best of luck to the g/f and a speedy recovery!!!

I like the little tree growing by your front left wheel. It's very peaceful, nice juxtaposition.

I find the rain drops in the pictures an excellent metaphor for our collective tears.
