Finally installed my navigation **PIC**

Here is a pic of the AVN 5435 installed I'll post more pics soon now that the inside is done it's time for some rims

Nice, those double DIN LCD installations are slick looking

Out of curiosity where was the GPS antenna placed?

the gps antenna is on my dash the by the passenger side a pillar. And yes the dual climate control button is a little different it's not black like the other controls I bought the whole double din setup from someone off ebay and the buttons were already installed but in person it doesn't look that bad.

nah..... i knew it was going to be alot so i just said forget it.... hey on your install, did you take it to a stereo shop or did you do it yourself??? if you took it to a shop how much did they charge for install???? i am going to be doing the DD in the near future....

I took it to a shop they charged me $200 but they also installed an amp in the trunk so they had to run rca's and a power wire they said the dash was a b**ch to take apart but I already knew that from reading up on it so thats why I didn't want to attempt doing it myself.

Looking good. My only question is....is the gps receiver visible from the front?

What was the total cost of your NAV including installation? Does your NAV have audible capabilities? Countdown in feet to turn, etc?

Ive been giving this some thought. I just hate to rip out the factory NAV.
