1st of all lets say hes at 6k RPM at 3rd gear..
Clutch +
Shift to N
unclutch..
*RPM DROPS*
*rev match*
Clutch
Shift to 6
clutch..
or lets just say he waits for the RPM to set to the right level.. blip it a lil with the throttle and sets 6th in.. from what i'm reading thats what hes doing.. if you guys are saying that is wrong then "shifting" in general is wrong

as to what caused it, i'm not sure.. could be a few things.. you can ask your service manager what was wrong when you pick it up.
keep us posted

Seems to me an easy thing to do.

lets say you choose B and u downshift to 3rd and merge onto the other lane.. now your in 3rd gear around 5,500 RPM.. you would go to 4th, 5th, then 6th O.o? why not just disengage the clutch and shift to the desire gear or double clutch into N and into (lets use 6th) 6th gear after the RPM sets to the correct level.. I personally would let it set lower then the point and blip the throttle a lil bit.. i prefer engaging the clutch while the RPMs are going up instead of down.. gets rid of that "blog" that ur passenger feels.

2) I wouldn't be cruising at 50 mph in 6th. I would typically be in either 4th or maybe 5th. Also, I'm aware of the lanes beside me and would see a truck pull into my lane.
3) If a car pulled into my lane, I would downshift and then work my way up the gears again. See my first reply.
