Check Out My 05 Coupe!!! (PIX)

3 coats of Zaino Z-2 Pro.

Pioneer AVIC-D1 with 05 double din conversion.

Rockford Fosgate 5002 amp.

I know I dont have any trunk space, but I never use my trunk anyway's.

I didn't want anything permanent and incase of a flat tire, it was made to be easily removed.

I was able to use my factory XM antenna with the Pioneer XM tuner.

Great ride BlackonBlackG35, The Z treatment works slick. Like the Pioneer Navi too. Nice job.

Thanks guys. The Pioneer navi install took me forever!! Here are some more pics from my install...

Then I cut down my trim piece with 100 grit sandpaper to get the perfect fit.

If you have the dual climate feature, you will have to solder the button, LED and 242 resistor from the stock A/C controller to the JDM A/C controller.

Very nice nav unit. How does it plug into the stock stereo system, a direct drop and no changes really (same output and sound, or maybe better?)

I just used a nissan wiring harness with the 05 bose system.

It definitely sounds better than the factory system. I think mainly because you can really tweak the sound to your preference with an aftermarket headunit.

The highs are more crisp and clear now....

Did you bypass the bose system now and use only your head unit and amp? I installed an aftermarket HU in my RSXS, they then bypassed the bose amp and hooked all the car speakers up directly to the new head unit. Are you still using the bose 'system' or is everything running off your HU and your amp?

thnx.

Still using the bose amp and speakers for now.

How did it sound when you connected your speakers directly to the HU on your RSX? Any difference?
