This weekend I took the 4 hour trip to my local [Get it? It's not really local at all...ha!] Infiniti dealer to get the Titanium dash put in it and while I was waiting I went into the lobby to look around [and by 'look around' I really mean flirt] at the inventory and goodies they had in store. I headed over to a glass case and saw an intake sitting inside. It was the AEM CAI. "Cool", I said to myself [and by 'to myself' I really mean blurted out loudly], "I have that intake in my car!" As I walked around the case I saw the little peice of paper with the price on it: AEM Cold Air Intake, "This is really cool...my dealer is actually selling an aftermarket part"...I kept reading...Available for 2003-2005 G35 Coupe.... $995.00!!! My jaw dropped...I whipped out my phone to take a picture for everyone...but thanks to the lighting and shimmer from the chrome filter I couldn't get a clear shot.

Can you beleive they are charging that much for an INTAKE!? I take it this is the price before the $500.00 install. Gosh, I guess I should keep saving! I wonder how many they have sold? I got this intake for $250 shipped and installed it myself in an hour...haha.

Craziness...Just thought I'd share!

 

It's just the factory metal color dash that you can get through Infiniti. I believe its part of the premium package....I ordered a weird car so that I could peice it all together later on

If you're still interrested though I think it was around $300

Lol, I don't think its anything too special or anything no one else has...I ordered it 6 months ago with the car but because of the distance and school I have never been able to make the trip to get it done! And just as a side note...the cigarette try and the cover to the navy are also supposed to be metal but they peices weren't in [or they couldnt find them]. I'll be going down in about another month so they should have them in by then and I'll have them put them on!
