damn dude, sorry to hear that...there's no such thing as secure parking in jersey city or anywhere in the vicinity of it...chances are the attendant was in on the job...my boy got his gs-r stolen from ikea in jersey, as he walked up to an empty parking spot, a rent-a-cop security guard rolls up in his car and says "whats wrong, car got stolen?" heed to this warning, security guards make for great surveillance for a hit. yet another jersey story, my brother's civic got jacked in secaucus, the police roll up and say to us "lemme guess, stolen car?" the water in jersey must make them psychic or something is very fishy. but its all good, if his civic wasn't stolen, he never woulda bought a gt-r!

Sorry to hear the loss. It is kind of weird they are selling the headlights for whatever reason. I dont think its for the HIDs anymore though...there are tons of maximas, TLs, Audis when I stay in Brooklyn and they arent even touched anymore...2-3 years ago it was different but now all the cars seem to have their headlights. Supply probably has already met demand so there's probably a different reason for this.

Theives don't care, they will continue stealing whatever they came for with your alarm going off even in the broad daylight. But I do agree, better alarm = nice and you do get what you pay for. But my advise is be sure to add a hood lock to your alarm, and good insurance. Hood lock and battery backup are two of the cheapest alarm add-on's and well worth it! Definitely sucks though, and sorry to hear about your loss.
I have a hood lock, battery back up, ignition kill, & fuel kill also. I work in a park so im outside just about all day. I'm also within 50 feet from my car and it's always in sight no matter where I'm standing while at work. Never will leave my car anywhere out of sight (malls, movies, and so on)... I gave up on society a long time ago & trust nobody!

When I'm home It's in the garage, and if you can get past my alarmed fence, IR cameras all around the outside of my house connected to monitors with 12 hour taping, my alarm system in my garage, and 2 dogs that weight 335 lbs together .. & then the car stuff all over again ... it's yours =)

Vision...

I think it's time to move, the extreme level of security isn't healthy

you are all confused about why theives steal the headlights. People who have g35s hire theives to steal the headlights because the headlights cost 900 a piece that is a 1800 total for the set. Then they crash their g35s breaking their headlights when they recieve the 1800 dollar check its profit. During the crash the front bumper grill and fenders get damaged and they replace those with aftermarket parts.

That's what I said...I really doubt its for the HIDs anymore...
