But i would agree with everything else said here. 05 will have better resale.
If you could get a very good deal on an 04 i would consider it.

I feel the ride is very rough, my RSX even had a better ride than my G35.

For example:
2004 has Brembos
2004 has Michelin Pilots stock
2004 has drivers memory seat
2004 has more torque and is lighter
2005 has better leather quality, but, seats are very narrow
2005 has more durable aluminum trim, however, I think the interior looks very plain now
2005 has 19 inch wheels, but, personally I like the look of the 18s better and 19 inch tires increase ride harshness and are seriously expensive to replace.
2005 has power seat back but no memory (WTF? I don't get this)
2005 has MP3 capability
I would like very much to feel the 2005 clutch pedal assembly--I know they are selling these and was wondering if anyone had replaced their 2004 assembly with the revised assembly.
All things being equal, when you see a brand new 2004 and 2005 you don't notice all that much difference inside and how can you pass up the brembos? I think I'd still take the 2004--call me crazy.
Now, that being said, had the 2005 come with Pilots and Brembos I would be driving one today

i dont see WHY NOT to ask this question? i think it's fun to do a lil comparison at times even tho they are all G35s. i think there are more than a few people who found this topoic intersting and from the many who posted their opinions..we all learn something dont we? or maybe its just me cuz im a newb.
anyhow, i dont have a G but planning to get one within a half year or sooner. i have my options open on many different cars, but i think i have my sights set on the G.
as for comparison of 04 and 05...its just to get an opinion from people on what they like or not on each model.
of course i no there are no NEW 04 (duh..). i no the resale value is diff. all that is common sense. i think the point of my question was just to let people compare and express their opinions on their likes and dislikes on each modle, thats all!
wouldn't it be nice to put all good qualities all together? lol.. maybe that will be the 06
and then we can do this poll again..lol.
have fun guys... dont take things so seriously..its just a fun lil poll!
and it sure helps me cuz i learn alot.
p.s. anyone know when they gonna have 06 model? maybe by the time im ready to purchase, i'll be thinking bout 06
hehe.. dont mind to wait a little if it gets any better..hehe!

oh, one more thing i forgot to add.. the 18 on the 04 is much better looking..especially when it has that gold brembo sticking out..hah..sooo sexy!
and for some reason (is it just me?), the 19s on the 05 looks small? i dont no why, just looks a lil weird. it's decent looking rim and that is light (??) for 19s...but i dont no..just dont feel it that much. love the old 18s.
maybe it looks better in person..
