please help...
okay, i'm almost at 800 miles with my coupe. i know people say the break-in period is at 1200 miles, but when i reach that point what should i do? could someone tell me a step-by-step process of what i have to do? i read stuff in posts, but sometimes i don't understand. i don't even know what people are talking about when they mention something about the windows. thanks guys!

Re: please help...
Princess, Until you've got 1200 miles just avoid hard accelleration, steady speed driving, using cruise control, hard braking, reving past 4k.
Once you reach 1200 miles you're ok to have some fun. Some of the guys (me included) have changed their oil and filter at that mileage feeling it helps flush out any contaminants from break-in but prolly not necessary. Follow the maintenance schedule is about all you have to do.
As far as understanding about issues that are talked about, don't be shy to say you don't understand, and someone will gladly talk more about it with you.
Nobody knows everything, and there's always some things that we all have to learn more about so don't feel bad about asking. That's what we're here for: to help each other.
Look forward to hearing from you and helping.
