Lets talk 05 Alignment / Tire Wear / Tire Life
Hi, I'm a new G owner and I wanted to talk about the alignment problem that G's and Z's have had and the steps taken to fix the problem....
Is this a concern with the 05's or have they fixed this problem?
I heaer allot about negative camber etc... Should I get a camber kit to adjust this issue?
Also, I have 19'' rims (stock) what kind of life span should i expect from the stock tires, what steps need to be taken to make these things last and not have grinding road noise from tires?
And finally, I've noticed that my car keeps pulling left and right on highways (mostly left) I feel like I'm always correcting it to go strait, is this common with G's or is it the roads causing this (I live in Atlanta)
Thank you for the imput...

I have had my car for about 3.5k miles. I also have the stock 19" rims but have had no problems with uneven tread wear. And... the car drives straight as an arrow.
My only major concern is the tread life. I am not super hard on my car but I do give it the gas once in awhile. I expect to get no more than 15k miles out of my 19's.
By the way, expect to pay a lot of $ to replace those bad boyz. I had a flat in the first 2 weeks of owning the car and the best deal that I could find on one rear tire was $320 installed.

From my experience, based on the amount of crowning the road has my car
should track slightly to the right and steering wheel cocked slightly to the
left. This is with a 0.10 total toe-in (degrees, front). If there is no toe in, your
car will track even more to the right and steering wheel clocked more like
11 o'clock almost all the time.
If your steering wheel is dead-on straight and car tracks completely straight
on a crowned road, your toe-in could be too agressive and tires will not last as
long as it should.
my car was like an arrow when new, and found out toe-in was set too
aggressively. had it aligned.
just a thought.

So the tire warranty covers worn tires?
After hitting the highway and getting a sample of how F'n loud these OEM tires howl/thrum and 70mph, I'll be looking for a better alternative to the Bridgestone Potenza.
