Quote: Last night I was bored and decided to take my car through the twisties. I was going to drive from Newport to Malibu on PCH, but decided to go from San Juan Capistrano to some lake on Hwy 74. This thing is a beast! Now to clean all the bugs off the front....
Very cool...twisties are really where you start to appreciate this car

Where is the 74, I'm interested in taking a nice drive in my G. PCH is fun, but it's usually pretty stacked and not that twisty until you get above the Malibu area.

I drove this car to Toronto from NY on througway. Oh man.. No one can beat(for its look and feel and performance and speed combination) G35 thats for sure. I love the sound of my babe. It sounds so cool when you are in tunnel or some closed space. Oh thats so awesome

Did anyone else noticed the way G35 stops ?? Oh I am so in love with it. Its so cool when you stop your car at the stop sign or at traffic light. You feel like you just landed.

Yeah RBJ, i've made a few trips from NYC up the thruway to Albany and Saratoga and yes I was very impressed on how the G handled at speed and especially up the steep upgrades. The G took them effortlessly with plenty to spare.

Just about every road is level down here so some of us city folk took a ride up north to Bear Mountain/West Point to run some twisties on Memorial Day and happen to take some vids If anyone wants to have a looksee, here's 4 mins out of three hours of runnin twisties. Oh yeah, the speed limit on these were like 30mph...... yeah right

Not that i dont love my G - but i think my 2000 Honda Prelude, slammed on 17s with sways, ties, and big-brakes, handled the twisties better.......BUT, i like the twisties better in the G because my leather seats, my XM radio, my navigation and my 300+ HP (crank) under my foot...

Not the greatest handleing car ever though....

Side Note - visited SOCAL for the first time a few weeks ago and cruised the PCH in a 1993 Bucik LeSabre....AND LOVED IT!!!! One of the best roads ive ever been on....Malibu is heaven on earth!

I will second what pearlcoupeg35 said...Malibu is Heaven on Earth. Speaking of the twisties, why don't some of us So. Cal. peeps get together and have a run through some of the canyon roads sometime soon?

Hwy 40 in NC from Newport to Ashville has go to be #1 because of the 60mph spiral turns and the 70mph turn through the tunnel...

..then my favorite is the 215 from Blue Ridge Pky to 64 going south... its about 50 or so varying turns all downhill going from about 5200ft to about 3000ft with one-side being a wall of rock and the otherside a hill that you can't see the bottom of because of the trees..... I love that road
