I couldn't take my key out!!
Yesterday after I parked my car, I turned off my engine but couldn't take out my key! I didn't know what the fuc* was going on! So I re-started my engine and shut it down immediately, tried pulling it out but still can't. I was messing with it for a while and after putting it in to D ( mine is AT) and back to P, I was able to take it out. Have anyone had this problem before??
its only happened to me a couple times and that was becuase i was in a hurry and left the car in D and then turned it off....so gay i know...haha...maybe it was not all the way in P....

It happened with mine when i installed a new shift ****. if there is any pressure on the lever that shifts you wont be able to take the key out. try wiggling it around a little bit.

yea it has happend to me numerous times, it is from the shiftknob applying pressure to the trigger. So just yank up on the shift **** and everything will be ok

I seriously think this is a Nissan issue. I had the same poblem in my 2k Maxima. It happened on and off. When the key got stuck, I just left it (dumb I know, but it wouldn't budge NO MATTER WHAT I DO ). A few minutes later I drove around the block then the key came out. Very wierd.
Yeah, that happens to me time to time. All you need to do is tap the shift **** up (towards P) Sometimes for some reason even though the car is in park, it doesnt completely register. You will probably hear it pop into place when you do this and the key will come right out. I had it taken to Infiniti once and they shortened some cord or something of the sort, but it still ocasionally happens, not a big enough deal to take the car in and deal with whatever it is they feel like putting me through.
