Dealer put on 70 miles..should I complain?
Dealer put on 70 miles..should I complain?
Well, dropped off the car Tuesday night for an oil change, rear view mirror buzzing TSB, Sunroof TSB and a tick in rear axles TSB, which I told them happens only in 1st gear.
Picked up the car Wednesday only to find 70 miles more on it. All the above things could have been tested and verified in their parking lot. Could this be justified?
What can I do?

If it were anything but an infiniti dealership I would say someone might be joyriding. But, you did list a set of problems that can be very difficult to diagnose; any type of ticking or vibration usually is, and my guess is they were probably driving it around tweaking things and then driving it more, and doing that many times over. If anything it could mean that really worked hard on your problems. If it were just an oil change I would raise hell.
Yeah, really. Even if they put on 10 its their right to at least tell you how many miles they went. 70 is way too much. Sounds like a long lunch trip on your car!

Exactly
That's what I thought, all those things could have been diagnosed driving around their parking lot, and even if they had to go on a longer smooth road, than ok 5, even 10 miles I wouldn't say anything, but 70??? That's excessive to me. I'm at work, so I'll call them when I get a chance and let you guys know what they said.
my brother works at a mcdonalds by my infiniti dealer and he saw a guy that works at the dealership roll thru the drive thru in some client's car. and they always have the AC on full blast, YOU ARE NOT PAYING FOR THE GAS!!!!!!!!
Well the rear axle issue is what may justify it as they have to do some road testing but I would say 40 miles max for that problem...and to determine if the rattles went away...
