Newbie here.
I did a search for a newbie section and couldn't find one so forgive me if this has been asked a million times.

I just sold my RSX Type S and I seriosuly considering a G35MT.

I was really disappointed when I heard that Brembo's are no longer avail.
Is this true?
Are they by chance offered with the Sport Suspension package with the 19's???

Can antone tell if there is a significant difference in the 04 to the 05 in terms of stpoong distance-fade-feel?

A random question :
What is the whp on the 05 G35 GMT??

Thanks in advance from a newb!!

The Brembos are not offered on ANY 2005 model. The Sport Tuned Suspension package is not going to help ... they have been discontinued. If you want the Brembos, you'll have to get either 350Z with either the track or anniversary editions.

here's a good topic on brembos:
https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...ghlight=brembo

just run a search on 05 brembos as opposed to 'newbie'... there's tons.

yeah... you probably wouldn't want the brembo's anyways... especially after you see the bill from getting thme serviced... you can always do an aftermarket upgrade... it's cheaper...

Except for a "look cool" factor you dont really need them especially for street driving.

And yeah...once you read all the posts of people bitching how much it costs to replace them you'll be glad you dont have them

Are all of you people nuts?

What serious sportscar enthusiast wouldn't want a beautiful set of Brembos on their car? I think some of the people paying out the butt for brake work are being taken by the dealers.

You gotta pay to play.

I apologize for turning this a bit away from the original topic, but has anyone else replaced the pads with replacements other than Brembo? I see tirerack.com and performancenissanparts have some other brands that say they fit the Brembo calipers. Do they work as good as the originals? I have 14K on my car, and the Brembos are starting to squeal like made. It's time for a replace :|
Need new tires too...

You guys are funny. I had 22k on my pads before I replaced them and the only reason why I did was to go aftermarket. Oh and by the way. I replaced my pads with low dust pads for 150.00. Any clown can do a brake job.

thank you! some people are getting 50k + from the brembo pads. So don't believe eveything you hear. Brembos were discontinued for cost reasons, not due to wear issues. Remember the stock nissan 03/04 brakes were the ones that had to have the warranty extended by Infiniti for wear issues, not the brembos.

Why would they be discontinued for cost reasons on the G35 and not on the less expensive Z? Regardless of cost, brembos could have always been made an option at an additional price.
