$1710.00 DOES NOT SOUND LIKE A LOT OFF, BUT WHEN YOU CONSIDER THAT A CAR LIKE THIS WOULD BE SELLING FOR LIST PRICE IN ST. LOUIS, THIS SOUNDS FAIR TO ME. THE MARKET WILL SET THE PRICE. You're getting pretty good action from idiots but then again no one has actually taken delivery yet either. This car should be $28-29K used. If you include the "How does a guy that can't manage his finances treat his car?" factor it might should be even less.

 

The average depreciation on a car(granted, used car, a car that has mileage on it, not new) in this price range is no less than $3,500, since the new 2K4's are on oreder now. Why on earth someone would be an idiot and instead of ordering a BRAND NEW CAR, in their coice of trim, choice of color, is beyond my level of comprehension. However, it's widely known that there's a sucker born every minute. Now, if after depreciation you factor in the econmoy, wooooops. Let me know, at $28K I'l be glad to take it off your hands.

A car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If the seller and buyer are not happy with the price then what is that car worth. I do not force anyone to buy anything. They write the check. Time will tell what the car is worth.
