Service experiences from SoCal dealers???
Anyone have positive/negative service experiences to share from dealers in the SoCal inland area (i.e. Norm Reeves, Costa Mesa, Montclair, Tustin, Cerritos, Riverside)? I’m on the verge of purchasing a coupe and want to get insight from others experiences. Please Advise.
i would need advice myself.
i recently purchased my G a month ago and i've heard horror stories of dealerships and what not, and i am going to be doing oil changes and what not, but i also need advice onto where to go...

I've gone to Tustin.. in the begining they were absolutely great-! .. then the last 2 or 3 trips I have been far less happy w/ their service and attitude.
They kept my car all day for a service, didn't have a loaner, didn't get to the other things I asked them to check out, and didn't wash it after that.
I haven't been back in awhile; hopefully this was somewhat helpful.

cerritos has gotten better. 3 years ago they were a bunch of thieves and hoodlums. glad they cleaned up thier act. my last appt. still took 3 weeks though. heard horros stories about costa mesa, although never got service there.
STAY AWAY FROM MISSION VIEJO INFINITI! I took my car in because I brought my car home from their service department, and all of a sudden one of the screws holding in my engine cover was broken. So they took the screw out and replaced it with the wrong screw that was way too big so it just kinda sat in the hole. Another time, I took it in for an oil change and they told me I needed new rotors. this was at like 41000 miles. But when i took it in at 35000 they said everything is fine with the brakes. So i took the car to my dads store, he works for toyota RSM and one of their techs used to work for infiniti. I had him check it out after I bought new rotors (slotted cross drilled) and he said they are fine. So i bitched them out got no where and just decided to take it up the tailpipe and never go there again.

hmmm been to both costa mesa and montclair
1) Costa Mesa: If you want regular oil change, it is alright.. but if you want any diagnostic, I don't think their tech are professional enough
2) Montclair: Very mod-unfriendly. Better make sure ur car is completely stock so they wont blame you for breaking something. IMO, service attitude sux like sh*t
Anyone knows any private auto shop that does a great job for oil change for our car???

Tustin - Sold my car i had already signed all the paperwork for but wasnt picking up until the next day. Not sure how illegal this was, unfortunately this was right after my accident so I was already dealing with 1 lawyer and his BS and really didnt want to have ANOTHER lawsuit on my hands
Mission Viejo - Been ok but i've only gone there for TSB stuff, although they still cant seem to fix the rear view mirror rattle and my driver speaker cutting out. But hell if I'm going up to Tustin and give those a-holes ANY business

I've never had any service work done at the dealer so I can't really add anything. I will say that I went to both the Cerritos and Tustin dealerships to look and think the Tustin one is better. It just gave me a better vibe. If you want the best oil change, do it yourself. You know if you've used oil, spilt oil, replaced the oil filter, have good quality oil, anything else wrong under there, and so on. Plus, the dealer wash wont come close to how good a wash you can do.

I think Cerritos is really working on pleasing customers now. The last time I was there, the service guy had a good attitude and didn't give me any problem with my mods. Too bad the techs put a nice gash in my side sill, probably from the edge of their boot while getting in or out of the car.
I had a horrible attempted purchase at Mission Viejo.
I just stay away from anything Santa Monica in general.
Cerritos Nissan is trying to emulate Performance Nissan in Duarte in terms of aftermarket support. I haven't gone there for service though.
