Feathering Tires 2005 G Coupes! *Pictures*

Links to other threads with this issue:

Front tires inside tread.

Here
and
Here

I have two other friends with '05 coupes with the same mileage (around 9000). Their tires are identical to these pictures from my coupe with 9600 miles. You can see the raised inside treads. I had to defocus a little to get it too show up in the picture. You can see the lighter color is where the tread is raised. I circled it in the last picture.

In the following picture, I highlighted the rasied areas on each tread. If you rub your hand right up the tire (clockwise) you feel each raised hump.

Again, the two other '05 coupes that I have access too are doing the same thing. One of the drivers absolutely babies his car (still has not gone over 5000 rpm's with 9300 miles on it). I know-he is so silly! Anyway, have any of you with '05's gotten the dealer to do anything? This is insane as the road noise now below 25mph is almost unbearable.

Thanks for any input.

This is a shame, 40K car has such a poor suspension set up. Hopefully, this won't happen with new suspension. Infiniti sould pay the cost of new Teins.

I updated the initial post to clear up what the pictures are showing. I had to defocus a bit for the issue to show up. Perfect focus just did not show what I see.

I recommend you get an alignment done at the dealer while the car is new.
the toe is set too aggressively from the factory. My 04 was doing the same
until I got her aligned.

The 4 wheel alignement is covered under warranty for 12K/12mos. If you are over that it will cost you around $110 @ the dealer.

Really? Aw crap. My car is 1 yr and 1 day old now. I'll give the dealer a call.
