i just install injen intake on g35 coupe.drove it around neighberhood but engine light is still on.engine light was never on before i install intake.was wondering if anyone had this problem.

 

Did you reconnect the Mass Air Flow sensor harness?

Disconnect the battery and then go back and recheck that you reconnected everything properly, Mass Air sensor etc. Then let the car sit for maybe 20 minutes and then reconnect the battery and see if the error light is gone. Point: If you disconnect the battery long enough it should reset the ECU. Also you may actually get a little more performance from your intake after the reset. That is until the ECU starts retarding timing and changing the fuel to air ratio in order to get the factory settings back. Good Luck.

i disconnected battery cables and will let it sit over night.i hope it will work
