I was wondering what kind of gas mileage you guys get for city driving on a 6MT.mine has been pretty bad as i am still in my break-in period.

 

Mine has 250 miles on the clock now (just got it last Thursday), and I've been averaging 21 MPG, according to the computer on the NAV. Mixed highway and city driving. I've been babying it though (no hard acceleration, always shift before 4,000RPM's, etc.)

Got mine last Tuesday, got 450 or so on the clock. First tanks of gas was 20 mpg. Mixed city and hiway and keeping it under 4000 RPM.

However if you carry a couple of people in your car, they will totally kill the MPG. I was getting 17 MPG over the w/e and it is slowly crawling to 20. We will see

Averaging 19.15 over 2500 miles.

Best of 20, worst of 17.99 which was the first tank.

My 6MT averages 14 in the city (I usually never get any higher than 3rd gear just so I can listen to the engine!) and 26 on the highway with 1200 miles on the odometer.

Have 2100 on mine, averaging 21 mixed city/Highway with the fill and calc method. It's scarey how consistant the milage is. No long highway trips. Did I mention my highway portions are in the 80-95 MPH range consistantly?

The RX is just about sold, I have been driving the G for about a month!!!!

 

I'm getting about 25 with 1400 miles on the odo, after a very gentle break in period. It'll probably drop a bit now that I can push it a bit harder. With the way I drive (mostly pretty civilized - at age 51 I'm no longer a kid), and with my typical 85% highway miles I'm guessing it'll probably stabilize around 24 MPG or so. Not bad, since my G35C would absolutely blow the doors off my old BMW 325is that averaged 25.4.

 

So far, I have 1000 miles on mine and have been averaging about 18mpg.

I did the same thing, I went from a BMW330Ci to the G35c. More bang for the buck...

Besides, in the DC area, everyone and their mother has a BMW now...
