Easy

1) Turn off VDC (small traction control button on the left of the steering column)
2) press the brakes with your left foot
3) while doing this, press on the gas slowly with your right foot. Keep adding more gas until the brakes feel like they cant hold the car anymore (slipping brakes)
4) let go of the brakes and stomp on the gas! You should get a really good squeal

if you are racing, try to start out at 2,000-2,500rpm
the method i described above is called brake-torquing.....it puts alot of stress on the transmission im assuming, so use it very sparingly!
Just make sure you turn off VDC whenever racing

Re: 5 A/T Burn out???

How do you know it was an A/T? and how did they do it? im thinking by removing the break light Fuse so that they can hold the break down? oh and if you remove the break light fuse when you goto the track you should get better times beaseu you will be able to revhigher when holding the break and gas at same time

I didn't say it "was" an A/T. I said "I'm pretty sure"..... from memory. Forget the guy's name, That was way back when the Coupes first came out, but I remember all he did was turn off the VDC.
Let us know how removing the brake-lite fuse goes.
