My company quoted me 1185/year for the G, as opposed to 1125 for a Z, and 1020 I currently pay for my 03 Altima 3.5 SE

It's only about $20 more per 6 months than my 98' Pontiac GTP. About $400 per 6 months cheaper than our 03' TL, and about $500 per 6 months cheaper than our 05' TL.

FWIW, my brother is paying about the same to insure his 05' Odysee as my wife's departed 03' TL.
Not that it matters, but I meant per/year, not per 6 months on the TL insurance differences.

Heard though that car insurance for G35 is extremely high according to my friend. And that HIS friend who owns a g35 got involved in an accident and ended up paying 15K in damage for his own car and 9k for the other?!

My friend advised me to go with the RX8 but I personally dont like the RX8's exterior, especially compared to the g35's.

1.) Was your car insurance payment above average?
2.) Are the parts for the g35 that expensive compared to other cars?
My insurance went up $2.00 a month from my '04 Titan & $4.00 from my '99 G20t.

i don't have a g35 yet, but when i talked to my insurance agent(farmers insurance) they quoted me ~550/6 months. I'm 23 going to be 24 in a month. They said when i turn 25 it will drop to ~444/6 months. i have no accidents and my speeding tickets have finally cleared off my record. right now i pay ~200/6 months on my 84 monte carlo. so considering the jump in cars its not that bad of a jump in insurance. oh, i'm married also which helps a ton.

try mercury insurance. not-so-bad service, and i think one of the most reasonable prices for car insurance. also try wawanesa if you have a good driving record. they are very cheap but very picky about who they insure.
