need help cleaning outside of windows...

i don't drive a g35c, but i do drive a 91 maxima. my question is, every time i clean the outside of the windows with windex and a paper towel, it always leave a haze or streak marks because when i look at it from an angle in the sunlight, i see the streak marks. Is there a proper way to clean the outside of the windows so i WON'T leave any haze or streak marks? I clean my windows in direct sunlight, if that has any affect on the cleaning process. What method do you guys use to clean your windows?

First, wash the windows with soapy water when you are washing your car. Second, after the car is dried, use a micro fiber cloth on the windows to apply the window cleaner, it eliminates dust. Use something like Stone glass cleaner instead. I know that Windex is a logical choice but I always find that it leaves streaks too. You'll also want to use another micro fiber cloth to rub off any haze or if there is streaking. Oh, and sunlight will definitely dry liquids quicker, that and a warm/hot surface. Enjoy!

But if you use a newspaper to clean the inside windows, be careful not getting the ink print on the dash or moldings. Do clean the window first with soapy water, then finish it off with windex and a rag, not a paper towel. I always find it best when it's a nice sunny day, that way the windex's ammonia dries better when you wipe it.

Only prob about cleaning the windows on the 05' G is that when your door's open, the stupid window lowers 1/3" and if you try cleaning ur windows while the door's closed, you'll start sweat beads. ah...the dilemmas.

Some of this streaky-ness is sometimes on the inside man...you know all that breathing with windows closed...try running ur finger on the inside and watch what happens, you'll be surprised.

Meguiar's NXT Glass Cleaner with a microfiber. I think it works better than Stoner's Invisible Glass. I've tried both..... along with many others.

No streaking, no residue. This stuff is awesome.

Newspaper.....and any glass cleaner. There's something about the ink of the newsprint?? I dunno but whatever it is, it works. Your hands will much dirtier than the windows when you are done.

I've had pretty good luck with Armor All Glass cleaner. Moslly use it on trips down to the LA area. Cuts the bugs and dirt off the windows and the headlights, no streaking, no ammonia so it's safe on tint
