HELP! Driving a G35coupe in the SNOW???
It snows for a good 3 months, so I thought the RWD G35 coupe was out of the question, even with good snows. Now I hear, mind you, from a dealer, that because of the near 50/50 weight ratio, it should handle fine in the snow. Then I decided to ask the RIGHT people - you guys, real owners of G35s. Will a coupe with snows drive safely in the snow - or should I make the decision to go with the G35X ? (I've been driving a 1992 Lexus SC400 for way too many winters, and I fishtale easily, even with sand bags piled up in the truck - which does nothing good for suspension !) Love to hear from any or all of you on this one. THANKS !!

I will never drive my G again in the snow.
I could not leave work when the snow started, and in just 30 minutes of dusting on the street, the car slid every where!
Although I got home safely, it is just not the vehicle that you want to be in during that type of weather.
Get a second "kick around" kind of vehicle for snow if you can afford it!

load 200lbs in the trunk?
Yea, that did the job for the snow for my Lexus SC400, but the shocks are now shot....got to believe that the coupe won't appreciate 200lbs loaded in the trunk either. I think I'll succumb to the G35x, which has preety well everything the G35 coupe has except it's exceptional looks.

My Coupe (now my brother's) has 225/50/17 Yokohama AVS Winters on Enkei rims and performs fine in winter months.
