best mods for better acceleration?

No..all that is done with the Tune. The Vortech comes with a piggy back for the ECU that actually runs pretty rich (to be safer). A good tune can get you to about 370whp out of the box. The tuner will mess with the timing and the a/f to get where you need to be. You can increase boost by getting a smaller belt as this will push more air in. Of course..you would need to tune it again to get the a/f right. Moral of the story...A good tune goes a long way.

I actually don't know what I would even do with 400.
You also have to understand that 400whp from a s/c is different that 400whp from a turbo. The turbo power comes much quicker in terms of a power spike. (This is what also makes it dangerous on stock internals). The S/C slowly builds its power and there is no spike. Just a gradual and linear rise.
I wanna know more about this different rearend!? Whenever it is brought up in a thread it always dies out. What is this lowered gear rear coming out of and what kind of difference does it make? I know lots of muscle cars use lower rears and on my cycle I lowered the gearing so I guess it makes sense because who needs to go 155 mph anyway?
