loaner cars - your experience

Original poster here...
I go to Douglas Infiniti in Summit NJ - they are part of the whole Douglas Auto Group which includes Buick and Volkswagen, maybe others. That's probably why I get a crappy loaner - it's not JUST an Inifiniti dealership?? Anyone have any experience with Ray Catena in Edison NJ? I always heard they were good - think I'm going there next time.
Also, I'm REQUIRED to return the car with a full tank of gas - guess that's standard.
Here's my original debacle i had with Douglas back in the spring - enjoy! (click link below)

Took my G coupe 6MT in for an unscheduled stop, Tick in the rear each time the clutch was let out. Driving a 05 g35x auto right now wtih 1100 miles. All the loaners here are G35x or FX35s. Loaner is clean as a whistle! Sorry to hear what your getting.
BTW, the dealer is detailing my car inside and out, and topping off my car with fuel for me, along with the service call. Can't beat Bill Goodrich's service at Infintiy of Dublin in Columbus OH. Never a complaint from me.

Over here they've given me a 04 G35x. They ask that you return it with the same amount of fuel that it has in it when you pick it up (sounds fair). The crappy part is that the car is usually rather skanky (the last one smelled really bad inside, I checked the trunk and the mat was all wet so no doubt it was from the mold growing on it) and they have a huge advertisement for the dealership on the doors (yuck!). Nice car to drive though, FEELS faster than my 05 6mt coupe. I'm really glad I have an 05 based on the interior though...

Discover Infiniti - San Diego, CA
I've been in twice for oil changes and waranty work and I've gottan '04 sedans both times. The first sedan was crap, very poorly taken care of the second only had like 6K miles...it was ok. I wanted an '05 but they were all taken.
They also said only for warranty work will you get a loaner...and you have to ask in advance for one too. It's all free BUT you must be over 25 years of age.
