They look awful. I removed mine within the first month of getting the car. Looks much cleaner.

Personally I used to park all by myself the the corner of a lot anyway from anyone. I didn't ever get a door ding. Then one day I came out to the car with the side window busted. I group of Deer were running across the parking lot and slamed against my car. $1,400 later I wish I would have just parked next to the bus and taken my chances.

I think these may be the same as the ones posted earlier. Maybe ugly but they look like they would do the job. http://www.autopia-carcare.com/acp-20030.html

1. Once you see some paint or scratches on your molding, you'll do the same thing. or peeled off moding may look worse. waste $$$

2. There's so many different cars like trucks, vans, SUVs etc... and every each car door has different design especially in winding so.... is that worth 1inch * 4ft moding to protect whole surface of your door from those?

I know one carelessness $$$$ make us pissed..isn't it?
Just park where you feel safe!!!!

The number 1 worst place to park is anywhere near an orthdontics office. You have moms frantically trying to not be late for the appointment after picking up their kids from school, and elementary school kids who are clueless.

Optional
You just simply have to park in a 'No Dent Zone' as I like to call it. Also known as the middle of freakin nowhere!

I don't see G-coupes with molding (except that one at the dealer). I'm interested in your thoughts and pictures of cars with body side molding.
It does afford some protection against dings, altho it detracts a little from the g's good looks.
It sounds to me like you would be happier with a moulding than without.
