G35 = Skyline?
I think plenty of people already explained why the G35 = Skyline ... all that i think is missing from this thread now are pictures. So here they come.

seems like you are not clear about the difference between skyline and skyline GT-R... Skyline has always been a RWD sedan/coupe made by Nissan since the 1960s that comes in a large variety of trims. Skyline GT-R that you see on 2fast2furious and Gran Turismo video games is the top performance trim level of Skyline. basically a factory souped up skyline.
think of it as like.. Lancer Evolution is a trim level of the Mistubishi Lancer, or the STI is a trim level of the Subaru impressa or the Z06 as a trim level of the Corvette or Mustang Cobra as a trim level of the Ford Mustang.
G35 is the 350GT trim of the current generation Skyline sedan/coupe in Japan.
From now on, skyline will no longer have a GT-R trim, Nissan is making the GT-R into a model of its own with a different platform instead of souping up a regular skyline like they've previously been doing.
