NEIGHBOR HIT MY DOOR

my neighbor came knocking on my front door to tell me that when she was backing out the opposite way from she is used to, she hit my car. i went out and lifted the cover, and oh my god, about three dents on my drivers door, but no scratches. i just called dent pro, and they are going to be coming out on wednesday. i used them before on my maxima, and they did a perfect job.

I use my cover everyday for that reason. Dents are easy to fix but scratches are a pain in the a$$.

That sucks dude, i would be so pissed, and only 600 miles on it. I hope your neighbor is going to pay for it in one way or another! Good luck with the dent removal.

I would be pissed too, but it was very nice of her to come clean with it. Most people wouldnt say anything. But yea, it sucks.

That's nice that she came clean with it but the important question is, "Is her *** paying for the damage???"

I can't imagine she'd have the integrity and honesty to tell him, unasked, about her error and not have the intention of paying for the repair, which sounds like it shouldn't cost too much. I wish everyone were that forthright.

Re: NEIGHBOR HIT MY DOOR

Funny side note... my friend actually kneed my car. Put his knee into the driver's door to get my dander up. It worked. Later, we were standing by my old car and I asked him to listen to it start... I told him where to stand (about 2 feet from the driver's side door, about 1/3 of the way from the front of the car). I said, listen carefully... then opened the door in one big rush and thunked his knee. I just said "See how the car feels?" he got the point and hasn't touched my G since.

Re: NEIGHBOR HIT MY DOOR

Really sorry to hear about your door, but I gotta say it like the rest: you got a stand up neighbor and that says a lot about her.
Ramo, hope the fix is easy and excellent. Tell us how it turns out!

As to GeoBau, with all due respect, you need new friends, or something. I don't know of any friend's, or even barely-met associates who, knowing my keen attitude toward cars would "knee my car".

Re: NEIGHBOR HIT MY DOOR

Hehe, he's actually my best buddy of 8 years... He and I are both incredibly protective of our cars (his 330xi and M5). The conversation we were having was about how well I was treating it, etc. and he just did it to make me try to throttle him. He calls me "spaz" when I get angry
(which is pretty accurate- I once dragged a friend out of my car by his hair because he got in the driver's seat while I wasn't looking). I flip, and loves to laugh at me when I do, so he was trying pretty hard... I didn't give him the satisfaction, but half an hour later I did He knew he wouldn't do any damage whatsoever, so I'm okay with it.
