Re: Making the Switch from Acura to Infiniti ! ! !

My dealer also says late October/early November before they the US sees any '04s. He also said they would go into production sometime in September. This information is what made me get a car now while there is still nice weather and good driving conditions.

If you bought your CL-s in 2001 when I was a acura saleman selling them like hot cakes then I would not feel as bad for you. How come you bought a CL six months ago because the G-coupe will definetely look, drive, handle better than the cl IMO. I knew about the G coupe in june of 2002. Anyways, good choice, now you don't have to look the other way when a G-coupe pulls up next to you. Good luck.

Redwillow: Your red G definitly looks hot. Love your tint.
Hest, thanks for the info. I think I will call a few more dealers to just confirm November time frame on the 04's. Do not know if it changes my desire for an 04. We often have very mild winters here in the Carolinas, with many, many good driving days, even in January - Febuary - March.

Good choice dude, you'll love the G...CL-S is a great car, and would probably have been a serious contender for me if only it were RWD.

Gaw! I wish I had the money to buya ~$30k car, then decide, "Nope, it's not quite right" and buy another the next year.

But hey, someone's gotta kick start this economy, right?

Well, my 2004 G35 is supposed to be showing up this month (Aug). I have the VIN# and everything looks like it's going to happen. It's a 2004 Caribbean Blue/Graphite 6MT with Aero/NAV/Premium, and the 2004 changes list had nothing about it being raised 1".
