Im such an idiot <PICS>

Just 6 weeks old... heres the quick story...

i was driving last Saturday night in LA it was raining the roads where wet, and anyway i was making a right turn and hit the gas a little to hard i guess and i lost complete control of the car i skidded and hydroplaned into a parked car jumped the curb and hit a tree.\

anyhow all the guys at work are now saying " oh its all fked up and its no longer new it will never drive the same and blah blah blah "

im praying i wont have any problems down the road... oh well just a message to u all, to take it easy when its wet out there i thought the G could handle it BOY WAS I WRONG.

Ouch! I trust you were not injured in that accident.

Btw . . . The G's handle quite well. It's usually the drivers, whom exceed their own driving abilities or exercise bad choices.

ouch, that sucks... good luck w/ the repairs...

no offense... but...
message to you... dont "hit the gas a little to hard" when the road is wet and making a turn w/ VDC OFF... and you only had it for 6 weeks...

Driving with VDC off in the rain on summer tires.....equals what happened to your car.

Sorry to see that man, next time be more careful in those conditions, ESPECIALLY with the vdc off.

What was the temps? I haven't lived in LA since I graduated, but I remember the nights could probably get down into the 40's depending where you are? If so, the stock tires absolutely suck when it's both wet and cold.

first off - hope no one was injured and hope the tree and the other car are ok - especially the tree.

secondly (at the fear of jinxing (sp?) myself but I could not resist) - we see that you have your hose out - are you thinking of washing her in this time of mourning - perhaps before you parents come home and see what you've done.

I for one admire your ability to think super positively and still show your G the respect she deserves.

that said again hope you were not injured and I appreciate the warning about driving safe and not taking risks with the VDC switch.

also I agree the stock tires stink - with only ~3.5K miles on mine am thinking of getting new tires already because am scared to drive her in the rain.

Well, at least you're ok.

Anyone else notice how many rock chips are on a 6 week old car in the 3rd pic?
