Stillen Rear Strut Brace GB CANCELLED by vendor!!! WTF.

So I got this PM today from the vendor!

QUOTE - "Hey Chris I got some bad news. Appearently Stillen found out about this group buy and when i went to order the braces they knew it was me who was behind this group buy. They pretty much told me i was SOL because they do not like businesses other than them doing group buys on their products because it take profit away from them. To make it short they will not sell them to me at all now so i have to refund all of the money from everyone that already paid. Sorry about this but i had no idea that they were this ****. Kinda makes me mad though because i've done hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of business with these suckas!!!" - UNQUOTE

So I don't know what to say but I am sure upset with the time I wasted on this GB... Sorry guys. I guess we will all get our refunds shortly.

Thanks for participating and I guess I will just order one for full price when I get my refund! SUCKS!!!!!

How did they even find out?

I wonder why they even care... it's not like we are getting them at cost. It's basically just free shipping! If the vendor buys them in bulk then Stillen STILL gets paid... it's actually the vendor who makes less. I don't get it.

During my Stillen sway bar GB, Paul from Avalon Racing, pm'd me and mentioned that Stillen was not too pleased with the GB pricing . . . Thankfully that GB went through. . . Whew!!

Yeah..it sucks..i just cant believe they would do this. It doesn't make any sense but i know what they are up to. You see, they are a manufacturer that sells it's own product so they are trying to keep all of the profit in house. why sell it cheap when you can buy direct from them and they make money on the shipping. Its actually quite greedy if you ask me. They've been irritating me too lately and my boss isn't really that happy with them anyway. oh well. Don't worry, if you get a direct refund through paypal they give you the full amount back so you wont lose any money. what a bunch a sucka azzez

Stillen has great products, but they're greedy as hell. Even for businesses who have contracts with them have crappy marked down prices.

Stillen is a sponsor of this site. Why not contact them directly for info on a G/Buy yourself?
Give it a try.
