That rain here in Boston was crazy! Some guy walked into the office with his whole backside dripping but the front of him was totally dry because the rain was coming down sideways!

Two feet of water would be about 3 inches below the front wheel well gap or just above the tire. I highly doubt the G would be able to navigate in water that deep!! Your car may have started floating if you did. Have another look at some of these photos to get an idea of that.

In any case it's not good for brakes, engine and all the other driveline components to be submerged more than momentarily.
