Sell those cats while they are new and buy Crawfords. How can you trust a company that makes so many mistakes. No offense to anyone running Kinetix.
The lack of penetration was not the only issue. The material was too thin and there was a failure due to fatigue. There probably was penetration on the thin material, however, while trying to get penetration on the thick material they used a weld not appropriate for the thinner material. Failure is in the heat affected zone of the thin material.
