You mean the rattles should go away as the car gets older? I was under the impression that if anything, rattles develop

I apologize for my sarcasm. Yes, what I meant was that with time the rattles first start coming out. My car was not bad until around 20,000 miles. Now it's as if I have surround sound in rattles. I'm going to try after 3 1/2 years of ownership, to first take it in to the dealership to try to work on the bad ones..... One under the plastic shift cover and of course the famous mirror rattle/buzzing.

42,000 miles, no rattles or creaks. Though I do have a little gremlin that knocks on my back window from time to time. Usually when driving over uneven road and entering/exiting driveways. Rear suspension mount maybe.

I also had the hood hinges replaced. They were binding somewhat and the paint rubbed off on the fenders where the hood met up.

Problems: Failed cam shaft sensor, failed throttle body sensor (both replaced under factory warranty), weird interior creak when making left hand turns and the usual rattles/vibrations on the console area/mirror especially when driving on the highway

rear view mirror clip thingy rattled fixed w/silicone.
throw out bearing like to rattle when you turn off car. ''normal''
and i get that weird misfire popping noise at idle. also ''normal.
all in all i think its a great car. i see bmw's/mercedes with more problems than i got. but mechanically speaking the car is sound. doesnt leak/ burn a drop of oil, coolant or any other fluid.
