I know quite a bit about nitrous kits and I am no "newb" to this suject, except when it comes to what is best for the G35. I am just wanting some thoughts and opinions from people that have EXPERIENCE with nitrous on this car .
It was a simple way of saying yea people like their nitrous kit.. Isn't the purpose of this website for people to jump in and leave comments and not have people at the comment like you did?? You could have ignored the response and just went on with the thread but I can see you only have 32 posts and you are starting off real good on this board

WOW to say that you'll get 355hp is wrong!!! It all depends on the car. More mods you have the better the +hp you'll get. I know of someone running a 60hp shot and is netting a +85whp difference. All depends on the car set-up and tunning. But to simply add numbers is wrong, sorry.

yup.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong but diff. N2o mfg rates their HP differently. Some are rated at crank, while some estimated the shots to be rate at whp, which mean, in reality, more shots to the internals. That's also something to look into. I think NX is at the wheels while Zex and NOS are at crank. I'm not sure if this info is valid since I last researched this topic was 3 yrs ago.

LOL!

He has been here as long as you (see join date)!!!

Maybe he chooses not to post how good-looking and successful he is....

ON TOPIC: make sure you go with a wet system......the non-return fuel system isn't optimized for a dry shot.

Patton, I checked out ur car at ur link, pretty nice. Do You have any accessories, like throttle position sensor or adjustable window switch or purge? I can see you dont have a bottle heater. I see your in Ohio also, can get pretty cool, bottle heater would maybe help your 1/4 mile and dyno run some. purge would deffinently help 1/4 mile time, that is if you dont already have it. I plan on getting the same kit soon. I am going to go talk to my brother later today about helping me install everything. Hes done many kits and is light years ahead of me on this. I plan on getting the same kit as you but with bottle heater, bottle opener, tps, and aws. how much did you pay for your kit and where did you get it? when you take pics this saturday, get some of where you put your solenoids. Cant wait to see them. good luck at the track.

Aight, finally got pics and posted them on my Cardomain page, check page three, just follow the link in my sig Check the purge, it comes out from the center of the Infiniti symbol in the grill. Here is a clip of the purge.

BTW, I do have a bottle heater, and a remote bottle opener will be here this week, I finally got an NX one off ebay for 150.

Heater, purge, and the rest of the kit all came together from JEGS but I can't remember the cost.

i would recommend a NX wet kit, i ran a 100 shot (80 to the wheels) on my g sedan and now my 350z for a while on the stock computer, i now have the utec to retard timing and moved it up to a 125 shot and now i am running a 150 shot.

all my jet sizing has ran rich according to NX and NOS charts, make sure you are looking at the 50 psi fuel table. the jets for a hundred shot are 52 and 28

125 shot 57 and 30

and now my 150 shot is 62 and 32

my AF is perfect 12.3 across the boards with those jets

the most important thing in the world about nitrous is to keep the bottle pressure around 950 to 1000 using the bottle warmer. nitrous reacts different to the difference in temp. 85-90 degrees is ideal temp for it

i just ran 11.83 @115.5 last night and will hopefully better that pretty soon. i shifted into fifth a little early to try something, i should be able to easily trap 118-120. i will post up my new times soon, check out my slips in the drag 1/4 mile times section.... hit me up if you have any questions that the search wont answer!!!
