Exhaust Noise - Is This Normal?

This is my first G35 and I'm still getting used to it.....is the loud exhaust noise normal? Almost sounds like hole in the muffler, and it's pretty noisy in the cockpit.

You ought to hear my '91 300ZX, it has an exhaust leak that I need to get fixed- sets off a bunch of car alarms in the parking garage at work, LOL!

hahaha.. I did that once with the G
low ceiling shopping mall garage
6 cars went off cuz I revved at some hot chick
the security guard was gonna run at me to give me hell but I drove off

G35: 1
security guard: 0
