That's were your wrong dude and the reason for my posts!

I have an 05 AT - got with Tony and put the MREV+ on my car and Dyno'd some nice gains with the 1/2" spacer - you should call him and catch up

Remember - the AT's already have the lower plenum - but MD mods to them do make a difference as well.

In my opinion - Tony did it again and squeezed out even more power on our machines!

I don't show my dyno's for specific reasons - I have spoken with Tony and I did get 12.2 HP increase - my car is heavily modded - so it is feasible that I would get more than the average increase - just how much, we're not sure.

So Tony now has some more experimenting and tests to do...

I might be interested. So what parts would I need to get? Do I just need the MREV plus if I have the 5/16 iso thermal spacers? I thought the mrev plus was only for the 298hp engine and will not work with the earlier models.

i dont think him spending the few extra $100 bucks will be worth the small difference between the 1/2" spacer vs machined version of his stock manifold with a 1/2" spacer.. unless theres a deal going on where you can swap your stock lower collector for a machined one for less $

post dyno results when you can cause wouldnt mrev+ with 1/2" spacer cause more low end loss for like a 2-5hp gain (compaired to just a 1/2") on the top end?

Honestly it depends on what your trying to accomplish in your car. For me - the ultimate NA car - so every bit helps everywhere. I have loads of bottom end and gears - so if I were to get a little loss - which I didn't get, it wouldn't bother me.

Again - my car is hugely built and not something to base other cars gains on - so it can't be used as a base.

I don't disagree that that 2HP is worth $200 - if that is the result - for me it was more - but when $200 intakes give you 5-7 why not $200 for the same in a manifold mod - it all does add up in dollars and HP over time.

Hi Guys,

Yes, its true... I finally got around to testing the MREV+ on a non-revup engine and it made great gains. In fact, the lower plenum modification made even more average power than a 5/16" spacer.

All the dyno results are posted here:
https://g35driver.com/forums/intake-exhaust/92810-mrev-installed-non-revup-engine.html

I've expanded upon how the lower plenum was machined. And recently, I expanded upon the machining process even more.

The lower plenum modification makes very good gains. And it made quite a bit more TQ than the spacer ever made.

The best part is you can combine the the lower plenum modification with a spacer for even more gains.

Tony

PS: Everything is shown in the link above.
