did you buy your car new? Mine came with one eventhough you have to have a plate. Sorry, I am keeping mine

I hope somebody out there has a silver one that they can't use...The dealer wants more for the piece of plastic than a licence/vanity plate!!

Came with a vanity plate on it and now I would like to change it to a cleaner look

 

The car should have come with the blank plate. Mine did, even though it was in the trunk, and the front license plate kit was installed on the front bumper. The factory included it with the car when it was sent to the dealership. If they didn't give it to you, go hassle the sales manager to give you one at no charge. It might work.
