black side markers?

+1 on the overlay suggestion. You can remove them later if you get tired of it.
If you get a tinted/smoked overlay, they'll appear dark grey/black during the day, but at night, they'll light up as normal.

i just got overlays for my taillights and headlights... very frustrating to install... got the tailights on with some bubbles, and headlights i ended up getting too frustrated and gave up on them, i think ill try lens spray too cause it just looks cleaner..
