Calling all "X's" with a lowered suspension!
Yes the rear ride height does not go as high as we want it to. You can contact BC and they can send you out a spacer for 40 bucks I think. It will go on the spring and raise it about 1/2-1 inch I believe.
Oo boy its gonna be a rough winter without those!! Def gonna have to look into that. Thanks Lumpia
What I want to do, is put the stock during winter because to give you guys a heads up, all that salt and sand can make a pain in the butt to lower it back down again. Get caught up in the and its hard to turn.
No link to post yet but i work in a shop and called on the kyb gr2s through carquest and decided to check around so i called schucks O'reillys and got a better deal then the kybs, the clerk guaranteed me the struts were made for the x and not just the rwd sedan.
i did as well im getting skeptical....i remember there was a picture posted that showed the difference between the 2 i wanted to see the picture again before they showed up on wednesday to know if they were right or not before i ripped my strut assembly out. Anybody remember what the page number was?
Okay guys....got my cv boot replaced tonight....but big problem..ever since i lowered my car on BC coils, my slip and vdc off lights are on...but now im feeling the something either trying to engage or disengaging. Im not sure if its the awd differential or what but it doesnt sound or feel good! Please please help...i have not done an alignment yet.....
Yeah its at the correct level....im fine with th lights being on...but not the sound and feel of something trying to egage...feels like its trying to turn and then does.i dnt know how to describe it....its about 2 mins after i start driving, when it does it...right as the dash lights come on
I think it might be a good idea to check all the brake lines. Make sure none were damaged during the CO install.
At this point I would also take it to my mechanic. It sounds like it may be serious (I hope not). I would have him look at and inspect each corner and run a diagnostic to search out the dash light problem.
I wish you luck and hope it's something simple.
