Calling all "X's" with a lowered suspension!
@apintojr - yeah the backs are kind of annoying because for me I want max comfort but I can't tell if I have too much shock and too lil spring etc...always easy to adjust height because its mainly on the spring I believe... but yeah on the preload on the fronts...you're running 10mm? how's that going? can you describe to me if it made it more floaty or more stock?
Omg, I could not tell you. I have adjusted my suspension so many times I. LOL
So guys I think I might have found a solution for our knocking. What I did is got some bump stops from a local auto part store and zip tied them to my arm. I did set my arm to all the way neg and before it knocked but this time it has not. I even set them to soft. I am going to drive around more tomorrow and I might lower it some more. If you guys can picture what I am talking about. I will try to take pics tomorrow. I was thinking about getting some with a bolt on the end and drill a small hole in the arms but I think that will be alittle to risky.
i was adjusting the height yesturday, and i didnt have the ***** yet to cut anything like ur video but i did take my friends air hammer and i banged up the spots a little to see if that helped. i didnt go crazy with it though.
i really dont hit that much unless it a nice dip. looking more to just absorb the hitting more then cutting for now.
Well there a couple, but it would require drilling a hole in the camber arm. I think as long as you make it tight enough, it should not weaken the arm because the bolt will fill up the hole.
I would say you will definitely need a kit with S Techs, but may be able to get away without one on H Techs. It's up to you though.

neither. i suggest H&R RWD springs. nice drop, wont need any camber kits.
& I'm also not very rich. So I need what will be cheapest months down the road.
I'm sure it's been asked before, but how much of a drop do H&R springs give an X?
when i had the H&R i had a 2finger gap. maybe a lil higher.
me & my buddy are in the process of installing the front springs right now. back ones were a breeze. but we are stuck once we got the a-arm off on if we should be taking out the entire bracket connected to the coil/strut/shock or there is another bolt there which seems we could be taking off just the shock itself
I'm a G35X rolling on H&R springs...they ride nice (a little harder on bumps..twss). It dropped my rear to only .5" gap and front with 1" gap. I also have custom Koni adjustable shocks with hotchkis swaybar in the rear to keep the car stiff. Hugs turns with minimum body roll.
