well since I just need to do my front can I get coil overs for the front and leave the springs I have on the rear ? If so what coil over would be recommended ? I dont need anything exceptional I just want it lower and I don't want any alignment headaches.

thanks

it wouldn't be a good idea to have springs in the rear and coils in the front. Might as well get the whole thing and install front and back.

You need to read the stickies in the Suspension section. Lots of info about springs, spring rates, and how much each will drop your car. RWD Sedan springs will drop your X about a ½ inch, Coupe about 1 inch, Z about 1½ inches. But spring rates are important, so make sure their close to stock X rates. And if you drop it too much, you'll need new shocks or you'll be bouncing.

finally finished installing my BC coilovers!

Took a couple evenings in a row but got 'em in finally. Also installed front + rear camber arms plus rear toe bolts.

pics, I apologize for dusk cellphone pics:

had some good company for the install

old meets new

Planning to take pics with a real camera and make a thread once I have it aligned.

Has anyone replaced their front axle boots? If so, where did you get the parts and what grease did you use. How did you clean the joint of debri that got in through the ripped boot?

2006 g35x on Megan coil overs. The ride is just right not too stiff but stiff enough, handling is definitely improved.

I would assume they go same height....right now i would say i can drop it about 1 inch more before the whole car is riding on asphalt. I'am already having problems scraping on certain roads.

I think the real question is... how *high* can you go on Megans in the rear bs. BC's. All the pics with BC's on are too low in the rear (at max height) for driving on snow.. the drop on Eibach Prokit springs, however, to me is even and perfect, so that's what I went with.
