It looked like a monster truck before the drop! I used H&R springs
and went with 225/45-18 tires in 18x8 +40 wheels. I love the look and the ride is nice as well! Here are some pics.
Whats up G's ??
I have myself a 2005 G35x which i just added some 18x8 SE-r rims looking to lower the car just not sure my best option? Could I purchase a Megan racing lower springs off a 2006 350z and apply to my car?
You can but know that Z springs will lower your car an inch more than the advertised drop on the Z.
I really gotta take pics but I suck at it. So far Im loving the FortuneAuto 500. Im still playing around with dampering. Started at soft and working my way to hard. Im at about the middle right now. Ride is good and taking fast turns I feel very planted. The only bad thing is I ripped my passenger cv boot... Looked like it was the original one. Spewed grease all over the wheel well. Im not 'slammed' at all either now.
how low did you go and what springs did you use? i have an 05x and since its and all i hear is that if i lower my car its just going to get fuced up, is this true? i just wanna get somebody opinion who has a sedan and possible an x thanks man

I have the silver 04x above. I love my drop it rides as good as a lowered car can and the only issue I will say that I have had and it's a common one is I had to replace the front left inner cv boot. Other than that the underneath of the car does sit fairly low to the ground so I am always mindful of that. But to say lowering you g wil f*** it up I don't agree.you either want a lowered car or you don't and the ones that say they don't are always negative about doing it in my opinion. Using H&R springs for a rear wheel drive sedan on all four corners lowered my x about 2-1/4 inches. I will also add it was the easiest car I have ever lowered took a total of 2 and a half hours start to finish! My 2 cents since you asked!

Im on Fortune Auto 500s coilovers with Swift springs. I also have an 05x. You can lower your car but not slam it. I pretty much went very low at first and tore a boot on the passenger side. Now Im at I believe 26.5 (not 100% sure on that number will try and get a measurement again) inches from the ground to the fender.

Haha Thanks! I believe its called ivory pearl. Shes dirty in that pic too since that was up in the mountains. Hopefully get a good detail in before the weather gets worst.
1 - Springs from '06 350Z
2 - 1.25 in the front, 1.75 in the rear
3 - I feel just a little more feedback, but still very close to original. It does not have any harshness or bottoming.
4 - I would of liked a more even drop.
5 - I've put just 200 or so on them. I'll update my comments if necessary.
6 - So far so good.
7 - 235/45/18 - offset 42mm

What do you think?
What's up bro I have to same car as you and I want to lower it a little. I just bought 19inch rims for it but I'm not putting them on until I get rid of the wheel gap lol. What do you think is the best option for that, just to get rid of the wheel gap, I'm not looking to go any lower than that. It's also my DD so what's the best option to get rid of the wheel gap and no encounter to many problems because I've heard that lowing the awd sedan will cause problems?? Is this true?

What's up man I love your drop and that's exactly what I want for my 05x. Can you tell me exactly what you did please? Is it just springs or did you have to buy other stuff too? And please let me know what you bought because I have no idea what I'm looking for lmfao thanks
I'm replacing my struts soon with KYB OE ones and want to get a mild drop on the car. Ideally I was thinking I'd use stock coupe springs, maybe even only on the front. I cannot for the life of me find stock springs anywhere online... I imagine they'd be harder to come by now and any search always gives me results for aftermarket springs.
Does anyone know where to currently find coupe springs? Or am I better off just looking at the Eibach Pro-Kit or something similar?
