Well its too bad you had issues , i guess maybe you were the first guinnea pig "did i spell that right" and maybe im the second but so far 700 miles ive had no issues and my car is a daily driver , i definitely watch out for pot holes even when i was stock , I had Eibach sportline springs and Tokicos in the rear 06' shocks in the front I wasnt very happy with that setup , my X is an 04' and we are now in 2007 ! I honestly dont believe any manufacturer of coilovers or lowering springs are in a big hurry to develop suspension parts for a car that isnt as popular as or a huge market for as the coupes and 350z's , if the coilovers are what nr2134 has an issue with because they are blue and come from who knows where ( China, Mexico, Pakistan , Uzbekistan ) then maybe VRT should sell only the arm that goes in the front and X owners can try what ever coilover they like . if you have pic of the mess after hitting the pothole left on your car can i see them, also a pic of the first Arm you had in the front (version 1) post them up if you dont mind ! I will definitely keep you all posted as i continue to review my new VRT Custom Coilover setup for the X for now its Thank You Michael . http://www.govrt.com

Isnt easier if VRT just answers the questions people have?

Pothole was unavoidable cos it was on freeway. VRT has the arms as I sent to them to have them redone. Then it became a mess....

Wow,

At least there is interest. NOT SURE WHY ALL OF THE NEGATIVITY....

Note:
The suspension components are the same for all Zs, Gs, and even Xs (except lower horss-shoe arm of course on the Xs).

The spring wraps over the shock and the ride height is easy to obtain.

Dampening on front and rear is 24 way.

Spring rates are

1200 front
800 rear

Might sound stiff yet with great valving and dampening the ride is awesome on all platforms and performance is great.

I will be practicing at Cal-speedway on the Roval with my Four-time winning Yellow Time Attack 350z Friday and Sunday if any of you want to check things out in person.

Hopefully Vulcan can come out on Sunday and we can get his G35x in action passing some Vettes and Porsches...LOL

For those of you asking with my manufacturer is, Come on...

Why not ask
Stillen - Who makes your Sways and Exhaust
JWT - Manifolds and piping
Nike - Shoes
Victoria Secret - Bras and panties.

Look, I can assure you these aren't made in China and aren't made for any other company. These are custom for VRT, true and-true.

6 Month Warranty and 30 Day Money Back Guarantee.

Here is the pict of the shock on the rear as you asked Fei.

Good to hear from you.

I wouldnt say that we are negative.....its more like aggravated, but in a good way. A lot of us are willing to pull the trigger on these as you could see, but the info has been a bit scarce until now so you have to understand.

As far as the manufacturer questions are concerned.....we just want to know if the manufacturer is quality, how long have they been doing this and if they stand behind their work. Not the actual name of the company parse.

I know some or all Tein coilovers are made in Taiwan, but so far no horror stories. This is your first set of coilovers so questions will be asked. Im sure you understand.

I just have one more question which Im sure a lot of people want to know.

Can you rebuild these if need be?? Oh and how quick can you ship these??

Thanks

Norbert,

The negativity I was talking about the unnecessary cat-fighting back and forth...Kinda off subject in my opinion.

And Yes,
They are rebuild-able and we will have the kits available.

Thanks for understanding, as far as the Warranty and support, we are importing these so for the record we would handle the warranty.

I will call you to discuss. The suspension is available, yet it is the custom arms that I have machined here states side that I will need time on. I wanted to insure I have interest before I make these machined items obviously so Im' not stuck with them for they are worthless on all vehicles except the X.

Appreciate again your patience and understanding.

M

PROGRESS.

Thanks Michael; As a G35X owner, I would like to be very well informed before making a costly investment such as coilovers. I know VRT will stand behind this product and I look forward to a long term (1,000 miles plus) review from VRT and Carlos.

i know the rear is set as a one piece coilover. is that a good thing or a bad thing since the stock is independent. will it mess with the charct. of the rear suspension?
