I found this for the M35X, and I want to see if it would fix our G35Xs.

this might work...makes sense since they both infiniti and AWD.....ima have to call the dealer or the manufacturer since dearlers never know crap to see what king of AWD system the M35x uses and try to go to the dealer and view the front shock for the M35X

Just talked to my buddy that was going to help me with the inserts, and he said our struts are not wide enough for the inserts to fit. Sorry guys.

i e-mail these company in japan from above post.....to see if it fits the G35X...Because i called the Infiniti Manufacturer and asked about this and they said the 2006 Infiniti M35x, power gets to all four wheels through the ATTESA E-TS AWD system, which is also used in some G35 and FX models, so by this i'm going to the local Infiniti dealer sometime this week and have my buddy the service manager bring out both M35X and G35X front shock to compare them.... i will update you guys this week soon as i get a chance to check this.

Guys so no success....i went to the infiniti dealer and the tech at the parts dept. told me that even though the have the same awd system that they have a complete different shock...i told him to show me the diagram pic. and he said he could not do it right this moment.. i call this B.S cuzz most of them don;t know half what they talking about just like he told me the g35 rwd spring won't fit the awd and i told him he is wrong cuzz i have a non awd sedan springs on my car and to check this forum and get some Faqs... and i left... ima have to check with the m35x drivers on this forums to see if they can help us out with a pic. of there shock.

That's what I did, now there's a stupid delay in Ohio because the freakin tropical storm wreaked havoc up around there. Truchoice's (KONI DEALER/BUILDER) phone lines are even down with about 800,000 people without power. I gotta bounce around a few more weeks on these blown shocks.

for the most part i've read almost all the postings here. and well i just have a couple of questions. i'm getting a x at one point in time. 04/05 models.

I haven't read too many cases of front shocks being blown. aside from Kazaam35x,

so the likely hood of going with a mild drop say h-tech or prokit is in favor of not blowing.... I'm wondering because i never had a car that wasn't droped with springs and strut/shocks and it looks like this will be the first. The rears are all the same, but i think going with aftermarket rears will put more stress on the fronts.

are there any pictures comparing X fronts to normal sedan fronts? wondering what designs are different.

Here you go Smash.

awd

rwd
These are tokico d-spec but see how the bottom has a stem. The awd as an arm.

Got a hold of 4 coupe rears, powdercoated them black. Just a trial, I can PROMISE you, it looks millions of lightyears better in person lol. Just wanted a little break from the M45 Wheels.

Still have the M wheels by the way, and plan on stripping the horrible pint job off those for some serious powdercoating.
