Phil at first sounds like a grumpy old australian dude, but he lightens up pretty quick. I also talked to a guy named Paul from KONI usa (not far from TruChoice) who told me that Truechoice is their best authorized dealer around, and their builds have a much better turn around time (2wks vs 6wks from koni themselves.). yeah, i actually spoke to Phil today. Phil did tell me about 6 weeks, he also told me my broke shock is gonna cost me around 150+ part and thats an estimate. i'm going to try calling truechoice and see how that goes. thanks for the info.

oh BTW FlyingLumpia your making me regret giving up those VRT arms. Ride is looking pimp.

dude if thi is your first drop you have pppplllleeenntttyyy of time. I went thru a couple of setups on my X (350z revised, H-Techs, 350Z H-Techs) before I finally fund the perfect ride and stance in the H&Rs. My stock shocks lasted that entire time, about 11k miles or so before they went out on me. My mechanic even told me they were still good after the swap with the Koni's. You'll be good for a while, but its nothing like the ride on the Koni's

Has anyone put the sport sedan springs on an X? Does that lower it any? I'm not really looking to lower the car, or lower it that much, I just wanted a higher spring rate.

The guy that has the HKS supercharger on his has them, it doesnt look like it did lower it that much so I think you will be good. You should atleast get some revised shocks in the rear for them or maybe some d-specs. There is one company that sell just the rears but I cant remember at this time who they are. I will try to find out tonight.

Sedan Sport springs on X

I have put the OE sport sedan springs on and the drop came out uneven, sort of... The rear looks way lower than the front. The ride was way better but I believe that the aftermarket vendors do a better of evening out the drop.

Waiting to install the H&R's everyone has been raving about. They took forever to get BTW. Install should happen when rear camber/toe kit comes in. Is the shock change a MUST? I have 37K on them...

If so, what choices do I have for the rear? Can I use can I use stock sport sedan (6mt) rear shock available on tire rack? (Bilstein or stock shocks from Riverside???) Is there going to be an issue because the car is lower? Or can I put coup shocks on the rear since it's about 2" lower? I noticed they (coup shocks) are also cheaper on the Riverside Infiniti site...

Thanks

I see the search for coils is still going strong. Quick question, I know there is an X with a Big Brake Kit on here does anyone know who it is? I think he has the Wilwood BBK.

FYI, I got the Coupe Brembo Kit on my X too, lol, don't know if this qualifies as a BBK, but thought I'd chime in.

Changing my front shocks this weekend and installing SPC front and rear camber kit. My toyos t1rs are almost done on the inside (17,000 miles) b/c of no front or rear camber kit.

Stock front shocks have about 60k miles on them, 17k of those miles were lowered.

Live and learn. Still waiting for the coilovers.
