NO front sway bars will work on the X.

I guess you didnt look through the whole thread, here is what I posted about the front sway bar.

So guys I know the front sways from a rwd wont work, but ever wonder why. Well let me be the first to show you. I actually think it may work but there will be a clearance problem. Here are the pics.

There are a couple of thing prevent it to fit also. One the collars on the aftermarket bar could be move down alittle. Also on the stock endlink there a something on it that I could bend up to help it fit.

Honestly, I am not sure. I think someone tried it once and he said it didnt work. I think the transfer case or something was in the way. If I knew someone that had a front brace off their car, I would try to put it on mine.

Hi All,

Impressive thread. I tried browsing through all 64 pages, but I might have missed a few points. My question: With the 2009 G37x Coupe coming out, would you think the struts from that car could be migrated over to the G35x? The coupes have a lower stance to begin with, so I thought that the design of the front arm could be similar to what the G35x has. If this is the case, the price of the OEM struts should be similar to what you'd have to pay new for your G35x struts, and you'd have potential to start looking at playing with the lower travel/higher sprung spring kits as these coupe struts should be valved differently than the higher sedan struts.

Anyway, just a thought. Anyone with dealer/nissan/infiniti connections able to answer?

By the way, I'm a new owner of a 2005 G35x. Woohoo!

I am thinking this also, I just need to get to the dealer to check it out. Maybe I will pm DaMayor and he can take some pics of under the car since he works at a dealership.

took the words out of my mouth i was at the dealer tofay getting my car serviced and test drove the G37X coupe since considering buying a G37 and i asked the guy the same question and he said that the G37X coupe uses the same attesa awd system as out X and the same suspension as the 2008 G35X sedan. Dunno if that helps.

Umm not sure since I have not seen the underside of the 08 model. I think I am going to have to make a trip to the dealership tomorrow while they are close and snap some pics.

Ok guys I went to my local dealership and got down on the ground and snap some shot the best I could from underneath. They revised the arm to more like a honda. But the set up does look like it would work for our car too. I also looked under a m45x and they are the same. I am thinking if the front struts are the same size then the m45x strut might work alittle better since it would be valved for the weight of it. Who knows I am not the suspension expert. But here are the shots.

I want to say the first 3 are the g37 coupe and the last are g37x sedan.

And here is what mine look like.

The H&R sedan springs will ride way better than the coupe springs trust I had them for about 3 months, the actual drop on my X was around 2.5" front and 2" rear after about 2 months of driving.
