i just put some 19" g35 coupe wheels on my x. i wanted to lower my x but i got a slight problem. my stupid subs are to heavy and the rear are lower than the front about 1/2". if i decide to keep my subs, what springs and shocks should i get found about a 2-3 finger gap.

damn how big are the subs? my suggestion would be get a 10 or 12 inch sub with a 4080 box which is custom made for our sedans problem solved.

Put some H&R sedan springs on, you should be fine, they are pretty stiff, but those W7s are heavy *** magnets, I would try it first, then figure out the system if you need to change it

I'm lowered on H&R sedan springs and I have 1 10 w7 in the trunk, she sits fine. Damm 2 10 w7's your trunk must rattle like a ****.

I haven't read too many cases of front shocks being blown. aside from Kazaam35x,

so the likely hood of going with a mild drop say h-tech or prokit is in favor of not blowing.... I'm wondering because i never had a car that wasn't droped with springs and strut/shocks and it looks like this will be the first. The rears are all the same, but i think going with aftermarket rears will put more stress on the fronts.

are there any pictures comparing X fronts to normal sedan fronts? wondering what designs are different.
Turtle, did you ever drop your X? I'm planning on doing mine this spring (soon as the weather clears up around here...). I'm trying to get a list of parts together so I can get to buying them. I'd like to have wheels/springs/camber all installed over a weekend, hopefully.

I'm trying to decide between the H&R sedan kit or the Teins H-Techs (these: http://www.racinglab.com/tein-h-tech...initi-002.html). That site says 1.4 F/0.7 R, that translates to ~2 F /1.25 R on the X? Those and the SPC rear camber/bolt kit. I hope that would be alright.

I'm looking to go with 18"s, nothing too crazy for tires, nice normal all-seasons. I don't really want to replace shocks, so think Teins will be better for shock life than H&Rs? PA was ranked as having the second worst roads in the US, and I can't dispute that, even our highways are ****, let alone the backroads I sometimes go on. I gotta have wheels and suspension than can take a sometimes generous beating...

ARE F****** KIDDING ME!?!?! After waiting for months I finally bit the bullet and ordered factory front struts so I would not blow out my 50k+ ogs and now they finally have struts available. Cheaper than stock too!?!?! I am so pissed right now.
